Server-Log-Files

When opening our website, the browser used on your device will automatically transfer information to our website’s server. This information will temporarily be stored in a so-called log file. The following information will be collected and stored until deletion without any action on your part:

  • IP address of the accessing device
  • browser type / version
  • operation system used
  • name of your access provider
  • website used for access (referrer URL)
  • host name of the accessing device
  • date and time of server request
  • request content (concrete webpage)
  • access status / HTTP status codes
  • respective amount of data transferred

This information is processed by us to ensure the smooth establishment of a connection and comfortable use of our website as well as to analyse and improve system security and stability.

Data is processed on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest results from the processing purposes mentioned above.

Contact Form

When you use our contact form, we collect the personal information provided by you in the form, particularly name and email address. Furthermore, we store the IP address as well as date and time of the request. Information provided via the contact form will only be processed for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.

You can decide which information to provide us with via the contact form. The information you voluntarily provide us with is processed on the legal basis of our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. So long as your inquiry pertains to an application or the conclusion of a contract with us, data is processed according to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR or (in case of an application) Art. 88 GDPR in combination with § 26 (1) Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

After an inquiry has been processed by us, the data will initially be stored for possible further questions. The deletion of information may be requested at any time, otherwise the information will be deleted after complete settlement of the request. Any statutory preservation periods remain unaffected.

YouTube

Our online offer contains imbedded videos for which we use a plugin of the Google service Youtube (hereinafter “Youtube”). The service is operated by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, US. Youtube LLC is a subsidiary company of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, US (hereinafter “Google”).

All videos are imbedded in “Advanced Data Protection Mode”, meaning that no user data about you is transferred to Youtube if you do not watch any videos. Data is only transferred if you watch a video. We have no influence over this data transfer and their processing by Youtube. Information on the collection, processing and use of personal data by Youtube and Google can be found in the Privacy Policy published by Youtube at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

We use Youtube to show you videos and further inform you about your services; this also constitutes our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR.

Use of Google Fonts

To display our content in a correct and visually pleasing way across all browsers, we use “Google Fonts” by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, US (hereinafter “Google”) to display fonts on this website.

When opening our website, your browser will load the necessary web fonts into its browser cache to correctly display texts and fonts. To do this, your browser must connect to Google servers. By doing this, Google becomes aware that our website has been opened at your device’s IP address.

Google processes your data in the US. In the US, there is no data protection level equivalent to the data protection level of the EU. Google has however vowed to adhere to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. Google bears the responsibility for further data processing. The integration of Google Fonts is necessary for an adequate design of our website. This constitutes our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR.

Use of jQuery and Google's Content Delivery Networks

To optimise loading times, user-friendliness and indexing of our website, we use the JavaScript library jQuery. This library is integrated or loaded via the Content Delivery Network “Google Hosted Libraries” by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, US (hereinafter “Google”).

When opening our website, Google may receive personal data regarding your visit on our website, particularly your IP address. Google processes your data in the US. In the US, there is no data protection level equivalent to the data protection level of the EU. The integration of jQuery via Google’s Content Delivery Networks serves the optimisation of loading times, user-friendliness and indexing of our website; these constitute our legitimate interests according to Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR.

Storage Period

In principle, we erase any personal data when the reason for storage no longer applies. Data may be stored beyond this period if provided for by legal requirements we are subject to, such as statutory preservation and documentation duties. In such cases, access to personal data will be blocked by the end of the respective period.

In the latter case, you have a general right to object which we will comply with without being given special circumstances. However, we do not use data provided by you for direct advertisement.

If you withdraw your consent, the lawfulness of the consent given until the objection remains unaffected. The withdrawal of your consent does however mean that we may not continue processing your data as previously done based on your consent.
